I tend to watch most of the episodes (though I do skip some portions of the family drama sometimes). From what I recall, basically Salar's dad and mom gave the impression to Sahiba's dad that they had been offered the merger of companies deal with Sufiyan Industries (The same industries where Qasim used to work and long story short, Sufiyan Industries were looking towards a global presence and shifting base to Dubai from Pakistan, they were in contact with Sikandar Group in order to expand - not sure why but Sikandar Group is more diversified and has a global presence - something like that - in any case, that is how Salar and Junaid knew Sufiyan and could shut down their production in Pakistan and shift their base to Dubai in the guise of a more global presence and basically that is how Qasim got sent out. Basically there was no merger but they became business partners). The crux here is that Sufiyan head dude has a daughter named Natasha and was a potential marriage option for Salar. Salar's parents gave Sahiba's dad (the Mirza Group are frenemies in business to Sikandar Group, as equally powerful as them, but not particularly acquainted with Sufiyan Group) the impression that there is a possibility of a merger of Sikandar and Sufiyan groups. Basically, freaking him out that he will now be dealing with not just two rivals in Pakistan, but a potential mega corporation in global export market as well. The Sufiyan production closing in Pakistan and shifting to Dubai only alarmed him and got him considering a deal with the Sikandar Group which put him at a disadvantage (did not understand the whole terms but basically it gave Sikandar Group a free hand while Mirza were left in a disadvantage). Add to that, the manipulation that Salar's mom did at the breakfast with Sahiba. Basically, she told Sahiba that now that Sufiyan and Sikandar are looking at a potential joint global venture, Salar and Natasha will be spending time together and getting close and build an understanding and maybe get married. Sahiba became jealous at this and basically forced her dad for a closed partnership with Sikandar Group, even though her dad was skeptical about the SS merger coming through. Sahiba's dad ultimately did sign the papers for Sahiba's sake but he had reached out to Sufiyan head and got into talks with him and came to know that there was no such deal and was justifiably furious. Saba, who unfortunately came across the two right after the conversation, greeted them happily but Sahiba's dad misbehaved with her saying that either her dad or Sufiyan needs mental treatment for not being able to remember such a big deal which apparently never existed; basically calling her dad a liar in front of Sufiyan head with whom she is acquainted because Junaid is handling that project (again that is why Salar requested Junaid to handle Qasim's transfer) in a very aggressive tone. Given that Saba is pregnant (a fact that is well known publicly), soft-spoken and had greeted him cheerfully and addresses him as Uncle, was not defended by Sufiyan head in this convo, plus tried to defend herself by saying that she didn't know (something that Mirza insulted her with "toh pata karo" on a dual note of whether her dad is senile or a liar), and the fact that she realised this is something her parents cooked up and put up Salar as an effective carrot dangling from the stick in front of Sahiba - basically selling him in marriage - she got very agitated and confronted her parents and lost her temper.
