The drama had a good team, writer, director, actor and OST... and still flopped. Just like GM did despite the hit Jodi of KRQ-Humayun.

But it performed quite well on YouTube; getting 15M on last ep & 24M views on 1st episode is impressive, as Hum TV subscribers must be less than half of whats today. Also, PKS performed better than Sabaat on YT.

Hum TV uploaded PKS playlist thrice. The views should be the addition of the three. It didn’t do well on TV but it got appreciation from everywhere. But yeah I remember people were confused whether Mahjabeen was naive or mentally challenged initially. When they started showing Abdullah problematic, reviews did turn into her favour.

I personally started liking her after marriage. Her earlier scenes with her mother were OTT. I remembered this because I watched Yumna’s scenes in GM today after KDH review. She definitely acted OTT as Atiqa pointed out, kinda reminded me of Kareena Kapoor from MPKDH.

The original upload has 24M views on 1st ep, 2nd playlist ep1 4.3M views, 3rd 1.3M views. Last ep total views are more than 20M

I never said anything about Geo and ARY being free in international markets. I just said in Pakistan, Geo, ARY and Hum are free.

How can you be sure Geo or ARY do not earn subscription revenue in international markets? ARY group of companies is a Dubai-based holding company so it maybe that its international distribution is handled by another subsidiary incorporated not in Pakistan. That way, this international market revenue will not show up on its earnings report of the subsidiary for its Pakistan operations. Without knowing anything about corporate set up, we can't say that ARY is not earning subscription from int'l markets based on report on Pakistanoperations.

Normally, a company reports its financial information (both local and international) in a single report. If ARY Digital Network had earnings from subscriptions through international markets, I think they would have mentioned it in the total earnings report.

Hum TV didn't had a bad year in 2020 they had iconic shows like dil ruba, sabaat, PKS, Raqs e Bismil, MTA, Chalawa, Dil Tanha Tanha It was 2023 which was a bad year for hum
