I don’t think so he remembers anything at all. He might vaguely remember their hug. If he would have remembered, he would have not proceeded with marraige with Arshi. We need to blame it on the writing which lacks consistency. As previous monologue of Ani told us a different story of him remembering stuff but the latest episodes are telling a different story.
