Purple - Not any time soon, if anything, we are headed for dark darker darkest days ! Ani has a choice - he be muted the next 3 weeks or ruined beyond repair perhaps 
Green - Only Ani will take the ring off , the day he feels J is over for him ! Which probably will never come ! The other option could be, J taking it off Ani's fingers post suffering a mis-carriage! Arshi has no agency over Ani and J, she is a 3rd wheel and will remain so , with both stakeholders giving her importance and keeping her relevant from time to time !
Blue - I did not have any ambiguity around this - I always knew it was Ani's ploy to not follow through with the rest of the rituals ! Deep down he never wanted to get married to Arshi !
He sought the opportunity that came by, by stating that they are already married ! Saptopadi (Saat Phere) and Sindoor Daan are the two most important rituals in a marriage !
In his mind, his marriage already happened, one time, in Kashmir - he has not moved on from it ! So he could not bring himself to marry some one else, when fate offered him a way out !
Plus Leena did not have the guts to show a full marriage and lose out on loyal viewers !
Ani is made to behave like the Abla Naari s of iTV, sometimes trying to save his izzat by not going for a complete marriage , other times trying to save his character being questioned and tarnished 
If I am predicting this correctly - this track is heading towards a mis-carriage and J turning completely stone-hearted from berehem, Ani fully wrecked with insurmountable guilt - they don't show his guilt much as it gets quickly overpowered by something more pressing, hopefully not this time ! A massive separation, followed by a leap probably, J reaching the heights of success and coming back to avenge Ani - maybe - in the process getting married to AK who helps her in her recovery and career journey but maintaining a social marriage !
It's the unending plight of the leads that they harp on and make money from !

Why do you think he refuses to be married to Arshi fully; and the monologue that he could not go through with it. I know it was again an ambigous statement, but if he has resigned himself to his fate; what is this his last hold out. Also J's ring? He has forgotten about it?
Now I fully expect Arshi to ask him to remove it and he will.
I asked yesterday, when will there be a day I log into the forum and the folks are all excited and happy abt the day's epsiode
