It takes years to build a good reputation in society. And one wrong decision can take it to the drain. This whole Ani-J-Arshi drama is gossip worthy. Ani-J are married, hence their act is justified, then why did they sign the annulment papers? So many fingers can be pointed at all of them. Love for a woman need not be above love for parents, his family. It is fine if he is scared coz reputation matters too and takes sometime on how to handle it. Sorry to say J is used to humiliation private or public, Ani is not. Being hesitant is a natural reaction. Even if Ani deserves it, I dont see his family deserving it.

Ofcourse family reputation matters.. it matters to him...in multiple occasions it is portrayed that he is not listening to his heart due to the fact that his family's reputation will be endangered..paternity claim is a huge thing and must be a shock to process..but this is not the first time he has manhandled Jhanak..he is around 30, his behaviour and thought processes should be more matured and less impulsive..he went against his family and Arshi multiple times for Jhanak...his sudden change of behaviour doesn't make much sense.. makers are not showing his pov explicitly..that is the problem, atleast to me.
