basically this show is about Chamkiya village where people stop going out of their house post 10:29pm as they believe the village is haunted by a dayaan. Abhimanyu Sinha is a COP who recently got transferred to this village because of his extreme short temper. He believes there's no dayan and all the murders are some serial killer's doing. There he meets his ex from his college days - Preeti. Abhi, Preeti and Macchar singh (another inspector) are now on a mission to uncover the real serial killer/dayan.

Hello! I am back from hibernation! 😅

A bit long post ahead...

Was really up for this movie and it was a good but tedious watch..

Found the the 1st half a bit stretched. There are many unnecessary fillers and conversations including a random romantic track between Prabhas and Roxie played by Disha Patani. Her role is as random as the track. A lot of time has been spent in establishing Bhairava's (Prabhas) character and his ambitions.. However him trying to be goofy and funny does not land at let's say 60% of the time

Bujji, let's call it the Indian version of Bat-Mobile was cool and fun.

Deepika Padukone as SUM-80 (Sumathi) is convincing however her character in this part is underwritten imo..

Big B as Ashwatthama has an effective presence.. The action scenes between him and Bhairava in the end is smth 2 look forward 2.. I liked his part the most.

The antagonist (Supreme Yaskin played by Kamal Hassan) doesn't hv much part rn...

Vijay Devarakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Dulquer Salmaan and Shree Krishna(Face not shown) appear as cameos in a couple of visuals as flashbacks except Mrunal.

The movie gets a grip in the 2nd half. I found the background score and the music a bit underwhelming but considering I saw the Hindi version it prolly sounds better in Telugu ig.

Overall I am looking forward for the next part. They have set up an exciting premise..
