I think makers are heading towards what had been foreshadowed in the early episodes of the show. Jhanak will be successful. Anirudh then will not be able to touch her, remain a part of her life, no matter how much he yearns for her. He will be happy looking at her from far away.

Going by the recent downgrading of Anirudh's arc, it seems he will be completely dismantled. There will be further falling of his character. At the end, when he will realise his mistakes, there will be no possible return for him. He will not get the fruits of redemption.

Also, I think the precap they have shot to keep us hooked, this conversation will happen after some days.

You know what I think ....,

In the initial episodes what stood out for me was the clarity that Ani always had.For him Jhanak was his "zimmedari"....at least he believed so...who was very very important to him but he used to firmly believe that Arshi was his love...Thats why RuNak thrived on emotional intimacy..there’s never any sexual tension initially as he was fully confident of himself that that’s never going to happen. Now when I look back He trusted himself much more than Jhanak trusted herself in this matter...She had the emotional awareness to realise what it might lead to.but for him...his trust on himself was Evident because there’s zero inner conflict or hesitation of any kind on his part while lying to his own people or even Arshi for Jhanak & her safety or simply to hide..bcz he had compartmentalized his life...and his conscience was clear that he was not doing anything drastically wrong here...just trying to keep everyone happy as it is a small thing..She will leave in few days and then things would be normal..The sheer level of his candour in doing these things can come only from a total lack of guilt because he’s absolutely sure nothing untoward would happen...

But then things happened.... birthday date and her leaving for Kashmir made him realise that the lines are blurring....and finally in Kashmir fever night he confessed that he has fallen for her ...but then that means....the trust that he had on himself was broken,he himself broke it ...now that "shame" was not a good emotion to go through....and that's why he needed Jhanak to be there with him to deal with this emotions....

Jhanak for her own right reasons didn't give him that, rather could not.....

Soo I believe when confessed his love to Jhanak, it was a overwhelming reaction to the accusations thrown by her driven by sickness that any way makes us realise the mortality of life so he confessed but..he was not mentally prepared to deal with the emotions that came after that...so he became soo soo vulnerable and may be volatile......

His love for her was associated with guilt and shame....and for Jhanak Ani's love was always tainted bcz of the circumstances and her past....

So how could they fight for something that they themselves were not proud of....rather ashamed of......

They need to first honour their own feelings for it to be their strength, otherwise their love will be their weakness that will bring out only worst in them.....

So I hope we are heading towards a journey where their love will be their strength now....I hope....

Hmmmm Asmi while I think about what you are alluding to in bold… I feel the narrative gave conflicting signals and did not support this in any way except his being with Arshi post fire - to that extent I am willing to concede that he was in guilt..and obviously it had to come from somewhere..

If I were to accept that he understood the blurring lines… and his getting reconciled to her going away was part of it.. I am not able to accept his behaviour post acceptance as guilt associated… for me it was his reconciling to her not having feelings for him…. Coz by then he was almost at that stage of I know what you mean to me and anyone who accepts me has to get that; his insistence to Arshi How will you wipe what is in the heart? Also If it was guilt induced, their chasm wouldn’t be so wide…

I take on board what you mentioned about the trigger of Jhanak’s outburst for the eventual confession from his end it was Ani at his vulnerable best…

In my view, the narrative can get many things wrong but it has to be clear on a few things..

In fact his not understanding Jhanak’s inability to own up is what caused the chasm to widen and ensued all that drama post confession and return to BH.

Its a direction of upcoming track where ANI will not be with jhanak in her journey and she will continue her journey in mumbai. THe precap is a dream which is just opposite of actual scenes so i don't give a damn to the precap. Till date when jhanak as asked sorry never so it won't happen in realty

if makers want, then both Ani and J should ask sorry from each other, both gave so much trauma to each other

Jhanak also gave up her pyar for her mahanta and desire not to be called home wrecker and did not give Ani a chance to speak about his feelings during stupid marriage track, insulted him though all he did for her, he saved her life, helped her to believe in herself, whether I think of it as ehsaaan or not, he was there for her in the past more time than anyone in her life including herself, she wanted to die most of the time, surrender to Tejas and uncle groom
