A moral conflict can only be solved when you either let go of your morals or if the person triggering the moral conflict in this case Arshi, decides to remove the barrier, or gets discredited and another moral conflict wipes the first one out.
I have always believed the story will only resolve when Arshi decides she has had enough of toying with Ani and Jhanak or genuinely has a change of heart. There is no other way either Ani or J will change this course. . Ani's characterization was shown this way always. The only time this changed was when during his marriag emandap he said, if J had accepted their marriage , he would have ensured they would not be separated.
Second is if Ani finds out Arshi and her mom were playing him and ends the relationship. Here the 2 deeds are evened out. He hurt Arshi and she got her revenge. Moral conflict negated.
Also, I wanted to respond to an earlier comment you had that Runak was always the focus and did I think early in the show that Runak will turn out like this. Yes I did. In fact the makers since the day Ani reacted to Rahul based on Shristi's goading very early in the show, they have always shown Ani as a jealous and intense person where J is concerned. His rash driving of car, when Rahul topic comes up, his obsessive bringing in Rahul in every conv, Aditya bedroom encounter, all set the stage very early. You knew he would spoil his relationship with J, one, because its ITV and they are predictable, every man falls for J, makers would 100% milk this trait in a track as viewers love the jealousy angle. The makers built his trait for this outcome.
Adi could likely be just one hurdle in Runak story, that is the normal ITV path. Leena can keep Adi for a longer stint if the trp has impact with his presence. I feel you can tell how long a person will stay in a show based on how much of the person's background is exploring, family, work etc. Till they bring in Adi's family or other aspects to cement his presence in the show, he is likely just playing a cameo of sorts.
Great Analysis ji. Five words.
