I have always believed the story will only resolve when Arshi decides she has had enough of toying with Ani and Jhanak or genuinely has a change of heart. There is no other way either Ani or J will change this course. . Ani's characterization was shown this way always. The only time this changed was when during his marriag emandap he said, if J had accepted their marriage , he would have ensured they would not be separated.

Second is if Ani finds out Arshi and her mom were playing him and ends the relationship. Here the 2 deeds are evened out. He hurt Arshi and she got her revenge. Moral conflict negated.

Also, I wanted to respond to an earlier comment you had that Runak was always the focus and did I think early in the show that Runak will turn out like this. Yes I did. In fact the makers since the day Ani reacted to Rahul based on Shristi's goading very early in the show, they have always shown Ani as a jealous and intense person where J is concerned. His rash driving of car, when Rahul topic comes up, his obsessive bringing in Rahul in every conv, Aditya bedroom encounter, all set the stage very early. You knew he would spoil his relationship with J, one, because its ITV and they are predictable, every man falls for J, makers would 100% milk this trait in a track as viewers love the jealousy angle. The makers built his trait for this outcome.

Adi could likely be just one hurdle in Runak story, that is the normal ITV path. Leena can keep Adi for a longer stint if the trp has impact with his presence. I feel you can tell how long a person will stay in a show based on how much of the person's background is exploring, family, work etc. Till they bring in Adi's family or other aspects to cement his presence in the show, he is likely just playing a cameo of sorts.

Great Analysis ji. Five words.

Actually it doesnโ€™t make sense.. only logical reason I can think of is Arshi maintained a basic cordial relationship with them, neither too friendly nor too rude.. like how some behave with extended relatives.. and I have always ff bh drama so I have seen shrishti misbehaving but I donโ€™t remember Arshi being particularly rude with the good gang except after aag incident..

Vira, I meant to respond to one of your posts criticising J's tone and harsh language when reprimanding Ani and thats what causes him to be not able to see the issue and do better.

I actually think J uses these harsh words, to trigger this very same reaction in Ani, not to make him understand her. When she does this kind of insult, she is needling Ani into reacting out of anger. She used this again yesterday to send him back to Arshi, as that was the right thing to do. I really dont think she is as mad or upset as she wanted him to think she is. She loves the guy and will never do this intentionally. Both in BH house and yesterday, she followed up her tirade with sorry - but I had to do this. Her anger is not because of her emotions, its her in control and sending him back because in public he is committed to Arshi and what he is doing is morally wrong

I wanted to add one comment for Imlie S1 fans. In Jhanak, Arshi is significantly better than Malini.

When Malini got spurned, she excused Aditya and took out all her revenge and torture on Imlie.

Arshi is better, she is taking good revenge from Ani and through Ani, J.

One thing I don't understand, is does Arshi still love Ani in her own way of how she perceives love to be, or has she fallen out of love with him and her intent now is to hurt J by keeping them separate.

Reason I wonder is she seems no longer affected by anything regarding Jhanak. Is it because she anyway holds his strings and he has to come back to her or is it because she really does not care about Ani anymore.

The way mother daughter duo were sharing a laugh over Ani's emotions and playing him further, Arshi could never have genuinely loved Ani.

Ani and Arshi peas in a pod. Both cannot sacrifice. They want everything

@Bold: I totally detest their behavior for Anirudh. Intentionally playing with his emotions knowing he gets easily affected anything related to J. And the way they were smirking. Really hope their dramas get exposed in front of Anirudh. I also feel that Arshi is totally fine but she wants to keep her so called condition in check so she keeps sending Ani to his guilty trips and engaged him to care for her.

Bold: why was Ani not able to sense their game? Or did he, but still played along to let the duo be in their delusional world?? Itโ€™s always hard to tell with Ani- perhaps his actions or inactions are purely makerโ€™s liberty !!

Love this analysis! Superb Priya. Personally loved the way your explained Aniโ€™s obsessive behavior with J when it comes to other men being involved. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
