Gehraiyan was promoted wrongly. Yes those scenes were there but not to the extent it was promoted. I almost didn't watch it cos of that kind of promotion. Until one day did watch it after long time it first aired and found the movie on the whole nicely done and those scenes were only few which surprised me.

We are talking about FIRST DAY when no one KNOWS if the film is mediocare or superlative.

And public knew very well how awesome Stree was as a film that's why they made that prequel a super hit, that's why big opening to Stree2 as public knew its a prequel to an excellent entertaining film, that's why such opening which is the case in most sequels opening day numbers, that are a legit sequel and having same actors.

Simple !!!

I hope such detailed analysis to give credit to everyone except for the lead access will be written every time a female led movie does more than 9cr opening

but until then shradah kapoors led movie has given a 7”cr opening and there is not much anyone can do about it
