I wonder how much of Salman's feelings towards Jaya are also colored by the fact that she's a certain someone's mother-in-law.

Are Salman and Abhishek on good terms? I know they greet each other if they meet at events but I've never heard of them being friends like SRK and Hrithik are with Abhishek.

Salman wasn't referring to Jaya, he was referring to ppl back in those days who use to say ke inn writers ka dimaag kharab hai kionki they use to fight for their writer credit to be written on film posters. It was them who started that trend, on their names, films were sold. They give script for 24 films, out of which 22 were Blockbusters. Along with success, comes ppl's jealousy, those ppl said these things which anchor is referring & salmon is replying to those ppl not jaya.
