In the initial days of the show, it was foreshadowed multiple times using Anirudh's dialogues only that he may not stay in Jhanak's life as she will be successful and unreachable, but he will be happy for her. I think the makers are also heading to the realisation of the foreshadowing. Anirudh will be doomed while Jhanak will shine in her life.
