I'm mentioning Udk specifically because that show doesn't have much online hype or a huge fan base like other shows, yet it's still in the top 3 with 45-minute episodes. On the other hand, Rishta has a fan base, thanks to the legacy of mothers and grandmothers. Udk doesn't have that; they made their position on their own. If we take away the legacy tag and ask Rishta to perform as a new, fresh show, would it even get 2.2 TRP? Who knows? No one thought anyone would watch Ghum 3, but people still are, and it's still in the top 5 with daily Trp per episodes hitting 2.3-2.2. So who knows, maybe the TRP audience will still watch.🤷‍♀️
