But this is reality of today's world. Why do you think Korean drama are so popular they take up hard topic and talk about them. They show are so fun to watch at the same time they have quite some comic value in them at the same time the intense scene are such that anybody will connect with them. If DKP can't deliver it through yrkkh that then it's utter failure

Oh believe you me! I will be first to applaud a TV show for trying to go out of the mundane! But Rishta and DKP is the last place I expect it to start! And as someone who has seen a few different shows fail miserably, I'm fairly certain the tv audience has its specific expectations from this medium and it ain't changing anytime soon!

However, you do have a point about her fear. Also, Abhira herself always had craved a big family. She essentially adopted manish goenka, a random old dude who was nice to her, as a grandfatherly figure. That says a lot about the type of relations she craves. So her wanting the blessings of the whole family is not out of character, after all, this is also the only family has ever known.

But like I had previously said in some post, you cant keep your life on pause to dwell on the what ifs. You do what makes the most sense in the current situation.

@bold - I think that was the reason Akshara told Abhira why she has no connect with her family (Ab goenka's ki complicated history toh nahi bata sakti thi, so I assume she made this story up to keep her inquisitve daughter's mouth shut)

All I said was I understand her reasoning - not necessarily agree with it. My point was i understand her yearning and hesitance stems more from a place of longing for a family for herself and her future gens as well as for her husband as well.

While I agree you cannot put relationships on hold for the fear of something happening in the future, we cannot discount that Abhira's fear stems from having lived like this for a major part of her life (she can be afraid that her kids may have to make a horrible choice, like she had to make when Akshara died, since she had no other family) and not wanting it for her children.

This was such a good separation phase for them tbh! The whole Mumbai track was done decently well and served soooo well I really hope they just lift direct tracks from their own show and redo it with the current duo
