Tho, their complain is of no use as it's an series made by indian platform and they have already removed it from Pak Yt. So, they can't file a case.

Now comes towards complaining actually it is about a religion. First of all, Barzakh the title is related to a state which has been used in Islam. They changed the meaning of this word/state because according to Islam once souls left the body they don't come back. And there is no connection between dead (souls) and alive humans. There is no concept of rebirth in Islam. But here they have shown something else chalo they took creativity liberty and shown a fantasy world ok fine.

But The real problem is that they have just not shown some major sins (according to Islamic teachings) but glorified them too like murder, adultery, black magic, homosexuality etc.

In this series, they have shown stuff which is prohibited in Islam that's why people were complaining. Anyways, now when it has already been removed then this matter should end now.

I get that they touched upon a lot of stuff that’s considered sensitive and perhaps they were callous in doing so, that too without due warning or anything. People take offence and they have every right to voice out the issues they feel were wrong to include.

BUT… my concern was pretty basic and had nothing to do with all this. It was simply NOT an engaging enough story and I left it mid 3rd episode because no matter how much I love the actors I cannot power through something this boring. The views are also a testament to this that people just couldn’t stick around.

I did feel like it was a faux intellectual story as far as I saw (which is like half) and so much felt forced and there just for the sake of it. I just couldn’t stay with the plot unfortunately. And I knew this might happen. One of my first fears about this project was that I hope it doesn’t get too high on itself 😂 and that’s what I feel maybe happened.

Were you able to finish it ?

Ooo yeah I was excited for fawad's comeback but story did not appeal me. Pace was too slow And storyline was too complicated. Even if we put controversial stuff aside still this series was not impressive.

Now waiting for fawad sanam's next project. Maybe that will be better one.

Exactly. I can’t force myself to like something even if it has my faves in it. This did disappoint me a lot and tbh I wanted to like it because visually it’s stunning. But there should be some substance too and logic. I’m still confused why this was picked by Fawad and Sanam.

You’re right maybe next one will be better although it’s not gonna be hard to top this one 😂

I watched two episodes. Honestly m so disappointed with this one. I expected so much considering the beautiful teasers n the hype behind the project. Good to know m not alone heresmiley36 Many are in the same boat.
