i am not a scholar ..i am only saying what it is..muslim countries do not give you an option of surrogacy coz it is haram in islam. Practising muslims do not opt for surrogacy. That takes away this option from 1/3rd of the population. Now if you want to shame a religion based on that..thats your call..i am not questioning beliefs of any religion and you should stick to that too.

I don't think katrina practises islam..her dad was a muslim (Mohammad Kaif) but she has spent her life with a catholic mother and i think she has taken a bit from all religions..so it is not that it be an issue for her..i know shah did that in 2013 for abram and the backlash was massive..primarily coz of him being a muslim

SRK is barely 'Muslim'. He drinks, smokes , is in showbiz ( naach gaana) , parties, mingles freely ( sometimes a bit too freely like with Lady Gaga) with women. Has a wife and a daughter who wear revealing clothes . Participates in the Ganeshan visarjan thing where idols are worshipped . All of which are forbidden in Islam. Except for praying and having a personal relationship with God he has little in common with the average Muslim on the street. So if conservative folks want to bash him they have so many other reasons. Having a child through surrogacy is the silliest one.

Even muslim named celebrities aren’t following it, why would non Muslims should be concerned about it?!!

A simple research would clear your doubts..it is haram..your thinking won't change facts..keep it to yourself..

also..go and read all the pages to see why it was brought in at the 1st place..surrogacy and its relatability and approach was being discussed..and religion plays a big part here for those who practise islam to not opt for one regardless of the circumstances..
