This is what we were discussing in the EDT too.

I don't trust him from day 1 and get negative vibes from him, especially in the hospital scenes after Brij was shot. I think he's the one who trapped Arya in that drug case so that Brij's aspirations for a political career would be hurt. Brij would punish Arya and he could take his place by Brij's side and have access to all the wealth. It might be because he's childless or because he's greedy. When he got the party ticket again recently and was pretending to be all wet from standing in the rain just to queue for it, then it was confirmed that he's too good to be true. Also telling were his recent actions around Kian's paternity and following Janvi to the hospital, then lying to Arya.

I think most people believe he's Kian's bio dad.
