Since due to personal health I could upload only 2 questions this week, hence extending the same quiz for next week too

Scores for both the weeks will be added to decide the winner

Question --

Since we are on Ram, which is the oldest Ramayana manuscript found till date(could be any Ramayana)

Valmiki Ramayana is the poem/Epic

We had oral traditions back then and not everything was written and even if it was, lot of such writings got destroyed, were deliberately burned.

Undoubtedly it's the oldest of Ramayanas

but has its manuscript been found or not of a time that early in history??

This could be a hint...

Is it the Ramchatritra Manas written by Sant Tulsidas around 400+ years ago? The original script is preserved in an ashram at Kamadgiri hill, Chitrakut Dham situated at the borders of state of UP and MP. Tulsidas began writing the Ramcharitmanas in Ayodhya in Vikram Samvat 1631 (1574 CE). The exact date is stated within the poem as being the ninth day of the month of Chaitra, which is the birthday of Rama or Rama Navami. Ramcharitmanas was composed at Ayodhya, Varanasi and Chitrakoot.

The oldest known manuscript of the Ramayana is the Nepalese palm-leaf manuscript believed to date back to the 11th century CE. This manuscript is one of the oldest surviving versions of the epic and provides valuable insights into the early textual tradition of the Ramayana. The manuscript was discovered in Nepal and is now preserved in various institutions, including the National Archives of Nepal and libraries in Europe.
