Ani said I love you to Arshi in the hospital and promised her support forever... -> this was make-or-break moment for me then after that whatever happened simply just followed that pattern

Now Ani has accepted Arshi his wife...

This was already a make-or-break decision. What he decides to do after accepting such a big thing is just not significant anymore. He is a married man and that is the truth. Does not matter whether the marriage is complete or not, he has accepted it. Someone who accepts such a thing with so much responsibility goes through a mental process and he did. He left his past behind and is moving on just like Jhanak is. Both are beraham to the core!

If you think with a cool mind what he is doing is the right thing to do for some guy in his place. We simply cannot accept it because of all the emotions he showed to Jhanak. That point in the show was like a good "summer dream"... But again the plot is still disappointing to me because we want true love to win at the end of the day and what we are seeing here is, that true love is not even trying to fight. So for them, their love was not above everything else, does not mean it was not true it was just not simply above everything else in their life. Heart breaking but that is what I am seeing ... dont you think?

And yes , from his POV there is nothing wrong in SR. Had not the aag , they would be married . Just that he doesnt need any more rituals. So there is no scope for him to say no this. Whatever come his way he will do it.

Till this marriage in all other events Anirudh had strong stand ...we saw his emotions., anger , hurt , sad , irritated ...but now he is defeated man and that makes things worse.

Vira, what I understood from their narration is, rituals not important, acceptance, acknowledgement and consent are very important things to go-ahead in any relationship.

There is no consent of Ani and Jhanak in their marriage..even though they married with all rituals infront of God and whole village.

But both Ani and Jhanak never accepted and acknowledged their marriage. When Tejas exposed their marriage truth both denied... and elders of the family just to please Shrishti they organized reversal rasam..

Followed by Avinash and Jhanak marriage...if it is not Tejas, jhanak would have married to Avinash. Her story might have ended there only..here also consent played role.

At the time of Kashmir wedding Pandit ji stopped Ani chi marriage because for him Ani is tied with jhanak legally and morally.

The marriage and annulment are both kept open as and how they need , can use it....

The character and plot is shown such that viewers will themself feel the same as makers...

Its a good way of story telling , but we want to see the leads together and so we dont like it ...

Yes , that is one way of looking at it.

Consent is very important in relations . That is a good thing to show. But they could have balanced it with showing a court marriage for Arshi and Anirudh before showing SR.

But here one more thing is family knew her for long years , so it was accepted .That too is important. More than them family wanted the marriage to happen . Also one more good thing is even though the bride is on wheel chair the family and groom didnt back out from the marriage ..

We can find so many good part also from this, but our dreams are gone with toofan..

If they show Ani Arshi SR, definitely makers will open doors for Acha aadmi...with my ITV experience generally TRP aunties give more importance to physical loyalty of leads.

That Ani or Jhanak would do anything to go against the flow wasn’t our expectation as we were so consumed with the emotions of the characters.

At this point, Ani’s gamble or his surrender whatever you may term it seems very risky and more definitive…signalling a loss of something we hold dear for our notions of love, fidelity commitment etc perhaps
