Actually... What I feel is she was always aware about his feelings towards Jhanak but as we know till Mandap Jhanak was there, so was her facade of "happily in love" was intact...

The moment Jhanak is out from the situation that facade is not necessary for her ... Now she is stating out that insecurities clearly as somewhere she is aware he is under a guilt & won't go anywhere now...
