Tbh I don't blame the characters for lack of romance. It's the stupid writing. After the proposal they could've given 1 or 2 lighthearted episodes but they went straight into high voltage (and stupid) drama. After Dadisa's heart attack they brought back Rohit. They are not even giving a single day of peace to the leads. Romance kaha se karenge

Dadisa ko Rohit ke marne pe bhi heart attack nahi aaya par khud ke ego ke tootne pe aagaya! Either she is that vile, or she was in with Rohit in the plan to run away or she screamed too much and popped some nerve triggering an attack

P.S - I'm just having some fun here please don't come at me with medical corrections!!

The way they are making every episode dramatic, dadi ke haan ke baad next episode will be shaadi & naach gaana, matlab courtship period bilkul nahi dikhayenge, subah haan, raat tak sangeet mehndi sab kar denge & usi raat ko shaadi bhi ho jayegi
