Agree. You simply can’t switch off and dont remember a single thing over the last 4 months or so of being together. You are right. You got to be a robot to do it, but they are humans and writers think they can manipulate audience into believing they could move on this easily. I wish we had seen their turmoil.. this was actually the perfect time to portray their jumble of emotions so that we as audience could have gotten more clarity and would have been able to associate to their inner thoughts regarding each other. Later, when they meet in Mumbai, it would have been an easy way to rekindle their relationship.

I get it, Moral conflict is the strong reason here...

But there are many other than that...

I want to see them to take a lead now, but I'm unable to see it as my hopes are not much strong like before now ..

I hope we will get something in this Mumbai track which will somehow make me keep hanging on that hope..

Yes they are not exploring childhood trauma, especially in case of Ani, the need to please people... if they do people will relate to that character much more.

The answer to when they will actually take interest in the future ... I have been thinking about that too...

A bigger moral conflict needs to arise for the current one to become insignificant ...

So to me, the answer is another moral conflict

What that might be? Can be several things...

Jhanak being harmed by arshi

Ani being harmed by Arshi / Shristi

Ani's emotional breakdown

An accidental physical intimacy between Jhanak and Anirudh (not thinking till the consummation stage but something)

These are the things that come to my mind... But obviously,

the biggest one is this one 👇

Makers choice

Something needs to happen that liberates them... or make them come face to face with their feelings so they can't run anymore

I feel unless both Ani and Jhanak feel the people around them don't care for them as much as they care for each other, or themselves... they are not going to change. Both can't be more different from each other when it comes to making decisions but their nature can't be more same. Both have childhood trauma, need to please people and make everyone happy, put others before them, and have very compassionate hearts and that is their biggest weakness ... they are very human , too good of human beings surrounded by not great humans

I am also waiting for the day when they will do things by themselves , but its not going to come anytime soon... one track one outcome , lets see what Mumbai gives us

Writers are not utilizing the necessary sources to upscale their intensity and the relationship. There was lack of turmoil and memories which is why I am super disappointed. So let’s see what other nonsense will we get serve with Arshi in between.

J's dialogs to Guruji have to be the cringiest to date. Even her forgiving Shristi made some sense.

Its horrible to watch her mouth such dialogs and her acting has also regressed...to some kind of sickly sweet goody 2 shoes. She needs to pull up her socks.
