I saw the scene. They danced around it but it was never said that Prem and Shalini were about to get married. So it is also possible that Shalini was about to get married to Vidhur (Sorry Neha ), (depends on how close he is with Mahajans) and Yash is actually Neil's half brother.

And someone on Insta gave me a theory. Yash has a heart condition. And if he is Neils brother then it is possible that after Neil's death Yash gets his heart.
