This is my theory according to the jo ab tak ke characters ke baare mein padha..... Shalini ka bhi aisa kuch past hoga jisase Yash anjaan hai and I think it will shake him which may leads to rift or seperation of Yash and Shalini......

AJ se hoga ya nahi I don't know.... Aaj ke episode mein jaisa unka rishta dikhaya gaya hai lagta nahi hai unless Yuvika ke wajah se kuch ho jaaye.... to pata nahi..... But Talwar men' s ki team strong lagti hai....... Company se nikalega Yash ko AJ aisa to nahi lagta.... I hv a thought.. i think Yash's father didnt died, i m guessing they had divorce, maybe thats why Yash prefer Shalini's name.. it can be his choice as well but he doesnt take his father surname too, he takes his mom's maiden name.

Also Mahajan nd Talwar's rivalry seems personal nd smthing to do with Shalini or her husband.
