Qki makers ne yeh twist humare muh pe de mara hai ki Ani has suspected J's attempt to murder - even if 0.01%, what was her motive then, if not that Ani believes J loves him and took this step coz she did not want to let this wedding take place!

Kamsekam, Ani ka character downgrade ka , kuchh toh good outcome ho - that he has concluded that J loves him and hence khoon karne chali , pyar ke khatir - else what does Ani think her motive was?
