Yip, that's what we have concluded as well yesterday, he does not want the police to get a 'motive' behind J's supposed act of jalayoing Arshi!

'Ani ko pana' was the motive Shrishti has establised with the police, Ani is trying to un-do it, by convincing the police otherwise!
