He may be a two timer as she claimed but he had a chance to be with abhira if he loved her , with ruhi if he loved her but he blew it up, why ?

@bold it seems like there is a perception that leaving a woman behind at the altar is some kind of a joke ..it can kill the strongest of men and here we have someone like Armaan ..a man whose life is rooted in guilt, gratitude and servitude…I am not saying Abhira should feel flattered because this is not really about her ..when Armaan agreed to marry Ruhi, he did so for his mother and his family ..he categorically told Ruhi that he believed they could lead a life of peace together with family ..love was never part of the equation …Ruhi knew this only too well ..and it was quite obvious to the likes of Manish Goenka even ..he practically told Ruhi to get ready for a moment of truth on the day of the wedding ….if Abhira had not confessed her feelings, Armaan may have gone ahead and married Ruhi simply because he knew not to expect anything better or anything for himself ..he had his moment of heart break on the day of the court hearing although no one knew, least of all him …after that, he reached a point where nothing else mattered ..he just kept doing as told, be it breaking the MS or wiping off the sindoor or worse ..it was like he didn’t care anymore and was on autopilot …but Abhira knew exactly what she was doing and even now she knows ..her memory is completely coloured by all that Ruhi has told her . she is seeing the past through the prism of Ruhi’s words….she is not realising that truth is often not absolute ..particularly when it comes to emotions ..it is not like the laws of physics.. there is always your truth, my truth, his truth and her truth depending on where we’re standing ..she has lived with Armaan for ten months ..she knows how deep his sense of obligation and guilt run ..and still she’s not even making an attempt to add things up for herself …she is simply going with Ruhi’s math and even worse, Kaveri’s math …to assume that a man who’s left a woman at the altar, a woman whom you’ve been told since was once was the love of his life, is some kind of honey bee that flits from one flower to another is preposterous to say the least ..not even the woman he jilted believes that …even worse, you don’t even want to give this man the opportunity to say his piece, when the law you supposedly studied taught you that even a criminal has a right to defence …and after telling this man to not come within five feet of you, it is only a matter of time before you walk into his orbit and crowd the only space he has …you accuse him of being the reason for every misery that has befallen you because you very well know by now that he is the only one who’s going to take it all lying down ..the times that Armaan let loose on Abhira for no apparent reason are recalled but what is forgotten is that Abhira gave it back in full measure every time ….Armaan is doing nothing of that sort ..on the contrary he is considering the tongue lashing as his due, a pain that he cannot even wince from....I would understand Abhira if she told him that the past was something she couldn’t ever forget and she chose to walk away from his home and his life forever …she is not doing that ..instead she wants to resolve the conflicts of all those connected to him …by staying in front of him and seeing him on a daily basis, neither is she healing nor is she letting him heal ….is this some sort of revenge ..to punish him for hurting her and punish herself for getting hurt ? And to what purpose ? Self-respect must never be compromised on ..but the first step to preserving your self-respect is cutting off ties to the source of your humiliation and disrespect ..if Armaan is that, then she should have moved miles away from him, not into the outhouse of his house 🤷🏻♀️
