But couples where the girl is an alpha while the guy is not... the genderbent couples are very rare these days...Bollywood has a seen a lot of such pairs and those movies were huge hits. Beta movie is one such example.

But a lot of people like Aamna are not used to such pairings and emotional intimacy. Hence they feel that the equation is maternal but won't find the other equations paternal coz we are used to seeing the heroes as providers and protectors. 😂

It's just a matter of opinion and perspective.

I personally love Emaan and Salaar's scenes. So far their equation is refreshing.

Everyone has seen beta, first of all lol.

And nope, it’s not that I think. It’s more the visual appeal than anything else. Salaar is coming into his own, he’s confident, he’s flirty and they’re equals in every way. Nobody is in “distress” anymore or in need of saving. And still that spark is missing. Which is why that date scene was dissected to bits. This is where we wanted it to happen right. But some people loved it and for some people it fell completely flat.

I think it just comes down to actor dynamics. They click with some, don’t click with others. Which is fine 🤷‍♀️ 🤣

Disagree on Amina liking Danish. Her disdain is quite transparent and she recently called him Sharmin Segal. Hassan tries to be more diplomatic though.

I didn't say that Aamna likes Danish. I said that both Aamna and Hassan praised his acting most of the times and the complaint they had is with his character selection.

Perhaps in others I haven’t seen but the episodes I’ve recently checked out they talked about acting specifically. In JN they said acting is not even required lol. And the comment about Sharmin was clearly a dig as well. Amina is usually more controlled than that so this surprised me.

Like I said, it's a matter of perspective. To each his own. It's fine

I would like to talk about the saree. I get that they want to make it seem romantic by choosing saree for that occasion. But when you wear a saree, there is a certain way to wear and carry it. But I don’t find it.

There are only 3 ends for Zain rn imo:

1. He dies for xyz reason - they’ll probably turn him dark before this happens. Least probable for me because they already killed his mom. They’re not gonna kill him too.

2. Salaar dies and Emaan is left with Zain

3. Zain marries xyz girl and HEA. Most likely the step sis, although… awkward

Most likely is #3 for me - since he’s not all bad writer might give him a happy end. They can move to Germany to avoid the awkwardness and family get togethers lol
