Raji has definitely fallen for Kathir but madking it as Karisansm. Kathir on the other hand is not showing any emotions other than kadamai and karisansm. The writers have done a bad job in expressing his emotions. There is no monologue, nor does he talk to Senthil, Palanivel, Saravanan, nor his friends.
I also didn’t know or understand that giving a pen will break our relationships. In that case my relationships with my parents, sisters and husband should have been broken a long time ago. I also get pens for my kids all the time, they are still talking to me I also didn’t like Kathir’s irresponsible response that if the relationship has to break, let it break. Are the writers indicating yet again that Kathir is not emotionally invested, he is only taking care of Raji as its his duty and nothing else. He would still be ok if she goes away from his life? That was one careless, meaningless dialogue by the writers
I am also eager to see what he does with the paper when he confronts Raji later. He might probably say that there is nothing between them and she should not unnecessarily dream of any love filled life with him.
In school, I tried FLAMES multiple times, even for my tall male teacher who wore specs (looked nerdy) and was single. I was sorely disappointed when it ended in E because in real life he he used to hit my hand when I was biting my nails, so it meant enemies forever.

Oh yeah, Prema, I thought of you when Raji said karisanai. You had listed all words starting with k but here Raji was telling a new word that was also starting with k.
@red: Tbh, I thought it was Akash and Shalini not emoting well. I mean the same dialogue by other actors would come out differently but with them, it is superficial. And, yeah that long dialogue for that pen was not needed. Or else they should have shown better emotions. With KR, I see they get some dialogues but 50% of the words are unnecessary. Meaningful dialogue or meaningful acting would work better. Don't know whether to blame the actors or the writers, but surely something is not matching.
@bold (2) He better use that paper for good by telling "I know what you think of me" or something similar. Teasing is fine but please no kadamai, karisanai, or kaatu-yerumai.
