Thanks for a new perspective. You are right they could have handled this new trait of Ani's character better. It is throwing us all off given he was portrayed so differently before.

Although i do hope now writers also focus on the other lead that is Jhanak and give her character some colors too!

The amount of colors they are giving Anirudh is blinding us to say the least! haha!

ITV has no ability to focus on a female character except to make look like a impossible superwoman not really relatable.

ideally better to stay away from titular shows but somehow I never saw this as a Jhanak story but a Runak story….Given Jhanak’s circumstances and it is set in an Indian milieu I would say it works best as a love story though in reality she could have had any one as her benefactor or mentor.or guide
