i agree! J is young and naive. Her world had revolved around a few ppl in Kashmir. She got rude awakening her mother left her. And she didn’t even get time to grieve and all this is happening back to back after that.

She hates Ani not asking her opinion before he decides sumn for her but is also grateful when he needed to like in case of Tejas.

Ani needs to realise J is different than Charshi. She needs time and sensitivity.

Problem ab ye h ki baat direct charshi ki shaadi pr aa gyi h.

I can understand why J has given up. But its just frustrating because this decision will forever create a crack between them that none of them could fix.

In contrast, they have kept Jhanak’s characterisation steadfast; she is behaving exactly as expected

Jhanak’s anger is post his meddling with her life( Rahul alliance) and his delirious confession. She had accepted to come to BH but never accepted to be part of any arrangement that would cause Arshi grief!! That her heart desires or desired more is evident but the writer has not messed with her characterisation even under great duress..

for me the conflict angle in the story and therefore Ani’s arc always been about how Ani will understand Jhanak’s vulnerabilities and empower her to take up a position.

Ani gave a small glimmer of hope yesterday when he said “ Why are you now standing mute”?

This is key to Ani’s character graph change but I guess the writers want Ani to act like a spoilt brat before he understands Jhanak’s predicament.

This track had potential to shine the light on Ani… but creatives have missed a trick in not keeping Ani a bit more stable…or maybe he needs to go to the wild side before he comes back 😀😀

Thanks for a new perspective. You are right they could have handled this new trait of Ani's character better. It is throwing us all off given he was portrayed so differently before.

Although i do hope now writers also focus on the other lead that is Jhanak and give her character some colors too!

The amount of colors they are giving Anirudh is blinding us to say the least! haha!
