Everything was wrong with that revelation - dialogues and the timing in the story as well( I understand the need from clean slate perspective). Because Ab at that point was shown to have forgiven Ar for everything else and was willing to give him the chance irrespective of Madhav pointing out the issues. This entire redemption track so far plus Madhav advice to Ar are not focused on the rumaal revelation allegations at all- it is for earlier issues, not sure if we would get to that. Even Ab flash backs and Madhav- Vidya parallel seem to be for 1st vs 2nd love which was the narrative from Kv. But Ab confrontation with Ar was on different tangent altogether clubbing her with Ruhi as victims led on by Ar...
