I thought it was a possibility early on because Ani hides that note and does not tell anyone but Choton. He knows Arshi could attempt even suicide to frame J and to win over her. He knows Shristi well - maybe backstory also Shristi would have caused harm to Urvasi and that will come out too. For me that is the strongest reason why Ani will marry Arshi at all costs. It fits with his personality sketch and also J was willing to live a horrid life with Tejas for Ani’s happiness. So both love the other to sacrifice themselves for the other.

It also somewhat explains his guts in asking J to stay with him while he marries Arshi.

Jhanak looks totally lost that what happened as if she does not have any idea. The precap will be totally different in actual episode.
