Yes , the only thing consistent in the show is this , as far as I remember .

Her promise to her mom .

Their promise that marriage will not effect their future and wont consider it asli .

Whatever happened these two have never used their marriage as a card to escape ...

Only in that Tejas wedding after so much words he said it in an indirect way and said I am freeing you from all marriages

Other than that it was always within the promise they made ro each other.

But like you said dialogues and monologues ..

Previously showed scenes and current scenes and dialogues all mis match...specially with the emotional connection of the leads ....

Bold reason 1- As much as this sounds crazy, I feel a part of her upbringing will never allow her to insult her sister, the fault of her demised mother. That is the guilt within her speaking out before the actual truth.

Bold reason 2- I feel it's her seeking validation like how Ani does too. Baat yeh hai ki unki guilty conscious usse sach manne nahi denge ki Ani ne pehli hi birthday epi mein Shaadi ko sach kehdiya.

The less said about Ani the better “Tum mere sath ke jaghah , mere saamne khari ho”

It’s a classic case of Two wrongs don’t make a right!

He loves hard and hates harder!

Even a 12 year old would do better!

Well written Sohini.. but keeping aside her Arshi didi and nakli shaadi jaap, we can't ignore the pain she goes through. Until Rahul's MU there was a thing about Ani hesitating to confess as he thought they were in love. But Ani after confessing did the biggest mistake of saying "he will nibhao the farz by marrying Arshi and keep his family happy, but J shouldn't leave his side". Any sane girl can't accept this kind of demands from a man. If he loved her, he should let go of Arshi and say that he can't marry Arshi, and he accepts the marriage with J to be real. The guy who always stood up aginst his family and Arshi before he didn't realize his love - is becoming a coward in front of them when he realized his love!

He failed to understand her, knowing how her mother and her suffered all their life. He is acting like a teenager who can't face rejection.

Check new iv I posted. Jhanak is deliberately pushing him towards Arshi, as she believes Anirudh happily wants to marry Arshi and is not breaking his commitment.

That what made her irritated so she said in her monologue: Aap Arshi k sath khushi se shaadi krengy, farz nibhayngy to me uddas hi hngi na.

He should have been told to break his commitment. He is the one who has a significant role to play in destroying their relationship.
