People talking about yumna are forgetting the fact that this is the same girl who did Darr si jati hei sila, pinjra, inkaar, pukaar, dnutn ,bakhtawar .

She wasn't a newbie opposite wahaj like some people are talking about 'only good for chemistry'

And moreover, yes, Meerab was thrown under the bus to save murtasim, but none of us have any problem with that ,bcoz at the end of the day no matter what , TB is both Wahaj's and Yumna's show

I remember talking to a friend during TB who watched it till the end. Her words were she didn't understand why the FL left & then came back on her own. That's how important she was for the show. The makers threw her under the bus to save the ML as it was him who drived the show.

Apart from a few of us who were finding nuances in the character I doubt any neutral viewer liked the performance of the FL. It has lately come to the chemistry only.

To each their own. But performance is not separate from what’s needed to create chemistry and magic on screen with your co star. A testament to that is this character is now considered iconic for her, has made her a blockbuster commercial heroine and has given her her most popular pairing yet. Neutrals have never had an issue with Yumna, the performer. Maybe script, but not performance.

TB was TB not just because of Murtasim but because of Murtasim and Meerab

She only has 5 awards , more than any female actor, to show critical and public appreciation of her as a performer

Also taali aik haath se nahi bajti- you mention Tere Bin, you immediately think of YumHaj together - an actor only shines when their craft is matched equally and compliments each other. Warna it’s not every actor’s strength. Every show talks about chemistry but rarely do any achieve it yet to the level that Tere Bin did.

Dono international tour pe bhi aik saath jaa rahe hain with just Dallas booked to 1K people. So … craze hai bhai When do popular tv couples do this sorta thing together for ptv woh bhi outside Pakistan 🤷‍♀️

If it was all about chemistry can be created with any tom dick and harry, why only this one blew up n not others that involved the superstars if the century?

TB script was largely about Murtasim's side, no one is denying that. But, the show became successful bcoz of meerab n murtasim's chemistry and that's what is still being talked about.

Murtsaim is Murtasim khan becauase of Meerab " Words by Actor Wahaj Ali for his costar Yumna Zaidi

Bold: I wanted someone to say this. You & I have talked about her performance earlier but if one actor gets dissed for a role bigger than her & for a performance way better than hers, I try to reply in the same tone.
