And societal pressure that plays, he said that himself and I would not be surprised ! In Indian societies, men have been bogged down by societal and familial pressures - else moral killings wouldn't be a thing, would it?

Red - J is doing this, because she has a bookish sense of mahanta ! And she has selective righteousness that peeks in and out , when it's needed the least !

I would ask her, like Chhoton, to ek raah chuno, either Arshi didi or Sirji and uss raah pe daant ke challo !

Yes J heard Ani tell her he loves her, which he does not even remember. She has also seen him time and again romance Arshi. She knows that he can lie through his teeth. How can she trust a guy who is unable to even acknowledge his love. After Kashmir, we can make the argument that J is making him keep his commitment to Arshi, but till Kashmir, everytime he had opportunity to break up with Arshi he ended up apologizing and begging her to take him back. So true! I totally agree with you on the fact that Anirudh is all about quick fix when it comes to Jhanak. He doesn’t want to make her upset but why not? They can’t be living a life like this where there is no capacity for understanding. Bol ke khatam karoo jo hoga dekha jaye ga. Anirudh shouldn’t be giving Jhanak any chances of complaining later on that he never confessed about his love for her hosh main. She said the same thing when she argued with him in the hotel that he never bothered to confront how she felt. Why to give her more reasons to complain?

J is wrong, but I can see her case much better than Ani's

Her mother has been insulted cruelly for her entire life. She knows if she is the reason for Ani Arshi breakup, BH - Ani's family will not be able to accept her. She also knows Ani values his family.

Both of them have maintained multiple times hey don't consider their marriage valid. They themselves have brought this scenario on themselves.

Ani has always let his family insult J. Now if J tells Ani she loves him and Ani breaks his marriage, she will be crucified by BH. Ani - as long as he has J safe and sound next to him, wont care a damn (based on history). J does not know Ani encouraged Arshi PDA for her sake.

I believe due to constant torture, her mental state is severely affected now, causing a dilemma between her heart and mind.

Dil Ani k pass ana chahta hn but dimag Arshi ki taraf bhejta hn, so wo dimag se baatein krty krty dil ki baat nikal deti hah, which confuses Ani and gives him hope. She has no one to guide her or understand her pain, so we can see a significant conflict with her statements mostly.

Ya ek possibility ye bhi hn k she's also provoking him to confess infront of everyone but one thing is certain that makers has been miserably failed to provide the clarity of her thoughts, thus audience started to feel disconnected with her.
