In Ai Buro bhaat usually it’s all the ladies of the house, mom, taiji, chachiji, mamiji!

Sometimes you r invited at their houses so it becomes an eating marathon!

These days even friends throw Ai Buro bhaat invites! Too difficult to eat so much and still stay slim.
The above is applicable at the respective bride snd groom’s , since wedding hasn’t taken place yet, yeh apne apne ghar hota hai , not a joint event!
Basically the bride’s family makes her feel special by cooking her favourites.And the groom’s family makes him feel special by cooking up a storm ☺️😊
There’s a ritual where the bride cooks for the in laws family, post the wedding, wedding day se next to next day. It’s called “Bou(Bride) Bhaat(Rice)” !

And serves the food to the in laws family! Much like “pehli rasoi”
Since bongs r majorly rice eaters, so these food related rituals all have the word rice(bhaat) in it.
