Breaking taboos isn't merely rebellious but it's a brave move towards progress and acceptance.

Hello everyone!

Welcome to our next game – Break the Taboo!

This game will be played between two partners.

In this game, Partner 1 will get a list of ten questions related to Pride Month and the LGBTQAI+ community – four words, two slogans and four names of people from the community.

Partner 1 must describe them in 8 words or less without using any obvious words like LGBTQAI+ words or show names or synonyms or direct hints. And Partner 2 has to guess.

If your partner guesses it right, both you and your partner get 4 points. If your partner can't guess it then you lose 2 points but partner 2 doesn't. And if you give direct hints, synonyms, obvious words or show names, then also you lose 1 point for each violation.

On day one, partner one gives indirect hints, and partner two guesses. On day two, they switch roles.

The game will be played in this thread. Partner One can give hints for three questions at a time, so number your hints to avoid confusion.

Teams are given as following:

Partner 1: MoodyMango and Partner 2: WildestDreams

Partner 1: minakrish and Partner 2: Satrangi_Curls

Partner 1: SoniRita and Partner 2: Bee222

Partner 1: chaipaani and Partner 2: Sevenstreaks

Deadline for Partner 2 to solve hints given by Partner 1:

June 22, 2024, 11: 59 PM IST.

Q1 Can I tag my partner? What does three hints mean?

Answer1 Yes, you can tag your partner. Three hints mean you can give them hints so that they can solve three questions at one time. Three hints does not mean three hints of the same question.

Q2 What does the ten questions comprise?

Answer2 Ten questions comprise four people, two slogans and four words, all related to the LGBTQAI+ theme/community and the Pride Month.

Q3 Have all teams got different questions?

Answer3 Yup. We didn’t give same questions to two different teams.

Q4 How would I give hint within 8 words if a word is too long or in case of slogans?

Answer4 You are allowed to break your hints like they do in Dumb Charades.

Q5 Any maximum number for hints of a question?

Answer5 No. The only deadline is the time limit for solving all ten. Before the Partner 2 gets PM, the Partner 1's questions will expire.

Q6 If my partner doesn't get it when I give the hint, do they keep guessing different answers for that hint or do I give out another hint and then they guess again, or is it just that one hint and one guess.

Answer6 You give your partner the first hint, they give their guess. If they are wrong, you give them another hint and they guess again. This goes on until they solve it for that question.

Like it happens in the game of Taboo.

Your partner will get an entire day to solve hints from those ten questions you got in your PM. Mostly the questions won’t be too tough.

Note: Though we understand you may not know what other teams have used as hints or for which word, we would like your hints to be as unique as possible from other teams
