In OG also ML got ill and majboor after he got divorced , here also they are showing Ani as bimar with the thought of Jhanak going away. FL became famous and then she supported the ML family. Here they are using annulment instead of divorce. Ani doe snot have any plan of making jhanak confess. He is going with the flow. I don't see jhanak blurting out that she love shim. She will be getting more insult and then Ani will let her go looking at her pain. Jhanak will purposely want to get hurt to make ANi realize that she won't be happy. If Runak unite how Arshi will be relevant. thats a big question due to this i am not getting positive vibes despite actors bluffing about runak getting together.

This is also my guess. Even if they decide to spend their life together, Janak can’t be happy in that house of evils. To satisfy the audience, they have real hugs and dream SR as their real SR might not even happen. Going by the Ani’s character arc, the makers made him conveniently forgot his I love you Janak. There is no follow up or discussion after that. By seeing the episode, he is going with the flow. He wants to make sure she is safe somewhere in the Kolkatta for his peace of mind and to get rid of his guilt. Even I am not getting good vibes.
