Bold - Ummmm I was totally getting this vibe after watching today's episode!! I think the makers are deliberately keeping this open ended though to turn the story either way in the future. I said this yesterday as well - the confession scene ended way too abruptly and was left open for interpretation.
Perhaps the SR dream was some way of foreshadowing what was to come? Ani dreamt it, woke up, and in his delirious state of mind pulled Jhanak close to him and made love..? Because today Jhanak said, kal raat ke baad bahut kuch badal chuka hai. Maine roka kyu nahi aapko, khudko'. That can't be just his confession. Especially because she said, khudko. Meaning whatever happened next was something they both couldn't stop or control.
My mind is blown right now!
Quite honestly I didn't like the conversation between Ani and Jhanak today. Jhanak was very subdued today and wouldnt meet Ani's eyes, which makes me think perhaps they did do the deed. Ani looked quite unperturbed by the night's events so it's likely he doesn't remember the confession and whatever else happened. He even mentioned fulfilling his farz towards Arshi in such a nonchalant way. Why is he still not considering breaking up with Arshi?? Even if all he remembers is hugging Jhanak and sleeping, that's still more than enough reason to question his marriage with Arshi.
Even his dialogues like, I'm so confused, my heart is broken in two blah blah...what was that? What is he confused about? I AM CONFUSED! Ani today did not give me the impression that he has any ulterior motive of marrying Arshi other than to keep Arshi, his family, and apparently Jhanak happy. I don't think he's putting on a show to get Jhanak to confess..at least the dialogues today did not suggest that. Maybe that will change later (I hope). He was very much sticking to the same path as he was yesterday, with the exception that he now wanted Jhanak in his life AS WELL. What's his game plan there? I don't know. Dont think Ani knows at this stage either. But I was extremely disappointed by the trajectory of that conversation. Ani was essentially asking Jhanak to live a similar life as her mother, maybe with the added bonus that Jhanak may have career and a better standard of living. But she would still be Ani's wife (nakli wife, half wife, full wife, rishtedaar...take your pick) that the world doesn't know about. And this stings because Tejas said exactly this to Jhanak - Ani may fight for her, protect her, love her, but he would never accept her as his wife in front of the world. At the time I wholeheartedly disagreed, but today I don't know...

Other than that I dont think our interpretation matches with today's epiosde .
Specially @bold red , that is not Anirudh .
Its Jhanak who didnt want him to accept her as wife .He did ask her clearly , do you want to accept the sindoor . Their marriage is not love marrige , not an arranged one , circumstantial one , both didnt want to get married back then .
Now if Anirudh feels for her and wants to accept it how can he declare it without her consent .He did not ask her in riddles ,it was a direct question ,why did she reject it on being mahan as I am not greedy .Ok, she dont want to be home wrecker , Agreed .
She shut him with "I have no feelings for you " .
What should Anirudh do here , force her to accept the marriage or his feelings .
She is the one who wants him to marry Arshi . He is quite clear if his feelings , when he hugged him if she had been the same powerful girl who shouted at him , he wouldn't hug her .His I would do all the Farz with Arshi is because of Jhanak.
Let her own her feeling to him , he is going turn every stone possible to stop the marriage with Arshi.
The change of status of Arshi in his mind now , he just feels it as a Farz .
Why blame only Anirudh for even Jhanak's confused mind .
The whole thread discussion is about this ...so I am not writing same things again .
