Yes, they are out already. But was still hoping they would win. They came real close in that SA match.

I really can't believe they botched this game so bad.

Bangladesh are through to the Super 8s. A clinical bowling performance more than makes up for their lacklustre show with the bat today. This is the lowest total ever defended in a T20 WC match and Nepal, much like the other day against South Africa, couldn't back up a good show with the ball with a good enough batting performance. Defending just 106, Bangladesh would've felt they were at least 20 short but that said, this pitch had a lot in it for the bowlers. Tanzim Hasan started things off in fabulous fashion as he ran through the top order.

interestingly tanzim sakib wasn’t considered to be in the 15 men squad of bd in this wc at first. instead of him, saifuddin was suppose to play who had a brilliant BPL season while tanzim had an average season.

however in the bd vs zim series saifuddin played really bad in last match and conceeded 55 runs. thats why captain shanto and management decided to opt with tanzim instead of saifuddin.

he isnt even the first choice pacer in the team. it’s shoriful’s injury that paved way for him in the playing xi.

and now he is the leading wicket taker for bd in this wc and even in top 5 overall so far.
