Playing his cards well , he knows him being sick could make J accept whatever condition he places in front of her ! He 'needs' J and he needs to see that she is safe !

I would not mind the manipulation, given that he is still attempting to build RuNak one way or the other as opposed to J, who is hell-bent on ruining RuNak since she is confused as hell !

But if the makers try to ruin Ani's character in the process to re-instate/glorify J, I would be disappointed !

Also possibly because we would still have to go through the impending Kolkata wedding with Ai Buro Bhaat, Gaa e Holud etc. so Ani is still in denial and on his endless journey to eventually realise his love for J! And J claims her rights and breaks the wedding coz by then Ani convinces her to accept the wedding!

Also, whether we like it or not every time Ani gets spurned by J, Arshi will be relevant in his zahan, till he totally accepts that he loves J and not Arshi anymore !

It is the protector and the mentor/enabler that kinda takes precedence over the lover boy - his priorities are skewed, needs to be "sort desc(ending)" instead of "sort asc(ending)"

I feel the writers wouldn't ruin both characters, specially Anirudh has it will effect their show .

If the manipulation is to convince jhanak acceptance of marriage then I am fine but looks like he just want to keep her in BH for whatever reason and he is still in denial mode that he loves jhanak but I doubt in Kolkata he will be able to get close to her. After such a close hug how he will be able to control himself . Definetely he will sit happily in all rasams with puppy eyes and this time I will definitely won’t feel sad for him . He deserves that.

Sach me behad dard se guzar raha hai bechara , sarr bhi almost toontne wala tha, but pehle babu ne headboard ki quality check ki, tasalli huya, fir sarr de maare
