I think even I felt it was emotional and comforting hug . ANI can’t bear the pain of jhanak going away so that is the insult he felt that she asked him to go away. The promise of being together is much more than marriage acceptance. People accept marriage but still not being together in thick and thin. The boy has fever he won’t have stamina to perform. Since jhanak has promised him to being together now she can’t back out in supporting ani if he want to accept the marriage.
