This is the third show I've found gripping enough. Sumbul s role in Imlie is very real, some viewers did not like the show as they found her unattractive with no make up & uncaring of her appearance. But it is a role of a lifetime, very raw and real, she was exceptional esp as she was 17. She is nowhere as good in her new show. i realize now a lot has to come together to make a good show.It is a Gul show but I think the creatives were Muskaan and Atif Khan. Atif is brilliant. The show ended prematurely because the makers had some conflict. Maybe thats why there are no overly faltu tracks. About 100 epis were toxic to the core. In Jhanak 'maid' is annoying, in Imlie one experienced trauma - abt 100 references to 'naukrani' and vicious insults each day and yet all of the viewers were hooked. All of us masochists :)

Jhanak is bringing a lot of Imlie memories good and bad to mind.
