about Jhanak... That is a strong girl for me , who stand for herself when needed .
Yes, she is a fighter when it comes to herself , choton, bodoma, Appu, jethu... but when it comes to Ani she does not fight as hard, She has pointed out a couple of times to others how they disrespect him and so on but that is all. I completely understand her stance, situation, her reasoning, but if you are seeing Ani distressed because of arshi, you also realize she is not good for Ani. I wonder why they never show that? She fails to see pain in Ani as well just like how ani fails to see love in her eyes. She saw happy Ani in aashirwad ceremony, choton pointed out Ani was not happy... she sensed Ani was not happy when they were in the same room, he was trying to tell her and open up to her, but she was afraid to let herself get involved with him so she stopped him! I think he deserves some support from her when he is alone and feeling depressed like that... She thinks to herself the marriage is important, but when Ani tries to talk about it, or calls it fake, she gets hurt... I mean this is crazy. If you really believe in god, in marriage rituals, please respect it, have respect for yourself also... Why does Arshi need to take precedence over Ani for her? every single time! ... so in that sense, this character is lacking for me and still very weak who cannot ask for whats rightfully hers. I hope we see that sometime soon... i really hope because that is what they showed in the promo!
One more thing her desire to be something and live for herself... no where! she does not want to build a career, did not want to take exam... i get it she is depressed... but she is FL, she needs to be shown some courage, Everything melo is not done!
Had Anirudh or Jhanak stopped the marriage with ther acceptance or love , it wouldn't have been this powerful to anyone including the viewers as evil gang will pounce on them ....
Panditji stopped the marriage sure but i think it was insignificant. Till when we are going to leave everything on destiny in this show? If not with "haq" or "love", they should have stopped it because it is "painful" ... or did their pain not surpass their capacity even with both of them being in the same place, with the same pandit ji, one marrying someone else and the other watching it happen? Isase zayada painful situation kya ho sakati hai? What else are they waiting for?
Honestly, I am just waiting for maybe 10-15 more episodes to see where they are taking this... i wanted to say 3-4 but I know Story is not going to go anywhere in that much time...
My detachment is increasing. I signed up for a love story, to see a woman achieve something against all odds, and a guy crosses limits to love her, but instead, we are served nonstop shaadis and melodrama!
Jhanak as an individual is strong ,she has always taken stand for her and mother , given the circumstances in which she was born and brought up . Facing humiliation in every single step of life not only from relatives but from villagers to (The kashmir festival how they didnt allow her to enroll her name ). She was and is living with constant fear of humiliation , which she often speaks " I am scared of getting insulted again and again ". From such an environment Jhanak still fights for herself . Not all can do it . We have seen it many times , taking a stand for her mom in her cousin's marriage , the courage which she gathered to escape from Tejas ( yes she was helped by another girl , but she had made her mind to escape somehow ), to speaking against the evil gang she has done it .
She admires him , has great respect for him and above all she has a feeling of gratitude towards him . And this respect and gratitude is that make her stand at times for him. She is the one who took stand against Tanuja and showed her mirror of how can you wish for the death od your son ,and even dared to ask her why are you always think of outsiders happiness and not about your son' s happiness. Inspite of the daily taunt session ahe had thw courage to question her .She even pointed to Arshi , you always have complaints about Sirji . From where she is coming from she is still strong to ask these evil people some right questions which no one in the family dared to ask till now .Now isn't that a strong girl for her age .
The support or comfort which she doesnt provide Anirudh when he is visibly unhappy is because She is not in love with Anirudh until recently . Inspite of that she has always cared for him , 'why are your eyes wet , did you fight with Arshi didi ' .That is all she can do when he constantly compares her with Arshi .She doesn't want herself to be forced between the two given all the situation they are going through . He needs support from her as he is open only to her . But he constantly makes her feel inferior .Anirudh came into her life as her sister finance.. So she doesnt want Arshi And Anirudh to suffer because of her and so she avoids him ,pushes him away . She doesnt allow him to express himself as she knows by now thta they have developed feelings for each other . But in no way her morality would accept it . By suppressing her feelings and promising everyone she wont spoil her Sirji or sister's life takes immense courage.
The moment she falls in love him deeply and Anirudh accept their relationship ,she would be the one to give him all the warmth and affection he lacked all his life .Their relation needs to come out from responsibilty and insaniyat to love and more love .They both can fight the whole evil gang the moment they realise its only them .
Due to all the same reason of becoming home breaker she doesnt want to acknowledge the marriage. Her sacrifice is so pure as she is letting the only relation in her life for the sake of her promise to Anirudh ,before their marriage .That promise which she kept live till today is much above all the rituals and more divine .No wonder God broke Arshi' s marriage .
Right now with all the insults she is facing due to their marriage she wants him to accept it in front the whole world , so that she can walk with her head held high .
It will all fall in place when they both fall for each other immensely without any Rahul or Arshi between them .
