SRK isn't fighting any Idealistic war against the Modi regime like some of his fans believe. Hell, I doubt he's even "Religious". Hardly, any of the top achievers in any industry are. They didn't become what they became by leaving everything on fate.

Religion is mostly just used as a political tool to keep the masses busy and divided. Many studies have shown a correlation between poverty and religion. The poorer the neighborhood, the more religious the inhabitants. Modi too has no issues firing his spokesperson on the behest of an Arab friend. Religion is not what they're talking about when they meet. He's not trolling anyone, there's no silent rebellion either. He went because it's good to have powerful friends.

I don't think that he fights against persons but he definitely would like that some systems in India change to the better and he fights some dividing thinking.

He said himself that he isn't very religious in so far as following Islam to the 't' (already his parents had a quite liberal religious thinking), but he is what I call "a believer" and is faithful to what he believes.

As for the "silent rebellion"...well, one should ask Jack what he thinks that it is.

SRK indeed has powerful friends (which he met there), but honestly, why should he not be present (for whatever reason he had in mind)? I don't know o n e reason why not.

Oh, dear, I'm one of those who actually r e a d the article from Caravan of which you only posted the cover of the magazine ... I bet you didn't read that (loooooooong) article and that's why you would not be able to answer that question. smiley1

I'm sure, it only had been a 'click-bait' for another SRK-bashing ploy-play.

Well, to me, what really matters, is what SRK thinks (says, does, shows) and what I think about that smiley16 (fortunately there are people - also here in the forum - who don't only think negatively about him smiley1).

That is very true. I just don't know why they act surprised every single time though. He gave his voice-over to the Modi built parliament, wishes Modi on his birthday, attends his Swearing in. More-over sells Tobacco products, Alcohol, Fairness creams and what not. He's always stayed quiet on any sort of atrocities whether in India or Gaza. I have no idea what gives his fans the impression that he's some Social warrior. smiley36

He's here to make money, as he himself claims. If anything, he's a Modi fan boy not an opponent.

More-over sells Tobacco products ( with others, but I agree, not in my favour), Alcohol (not anymore, I think), Fairness creams (not anymore, I think) and what not (so???). I have no idea what gives his fans the impression that he's some Social warrior (where comes this from? T h a t is new to me...he is indeed a "warrior" but what do YOU understand under "social warrior"???). smiley36
