Jaker Ali?! He didnt even play first match smiley36 Today he struggled too. He only did well in his debut match vs SL. Litton Das was good in first match equally terrible in this match. Also dropped Klassen’s catch. Litton Das is my fav BD player after Mushy it feels bad to see him going through a terrible form before the SL match he was in worse form than Shanto.

Weird rule, but that's what they've done for this tournament.

Oh okay

Let's see what happen in Super 8 then

Aus is weak in T20

They won't reach Semi

Shakib hasn't been the same batsman since he developed eye problems.

Was in absolute beast mode at the 2019 World Cup (was player of the tournament for me)- looks like a shadow of that batsman now. And perhaps he's also got tired of carrying this team!

And he makes it worse by giving absurd statement in press or interviews. A lot of BD fans lost respect for him already not cause he’s in bad form but cause of his disrespectful words.

First he accussed Tamim Iqbal saying if you are not fit and playing for your team, you are cheating your team. And the thing is now he himself is unfit. And then he say that he doesnt consider playing with ZIM or USA as prep for wc. USA’s series win has been a slap on his face. And then recently he say BD is a team that rely on prayers only, I mean how can you say this about your own team no matter what?!

Litton is a very weird case. Clearly has the talent and the shots, but for some bizarre reason, can't reproduce it on a consistent basis.

The problem kinda feels mental to me.

The interesting thing is that Hathurasinghe and Papon are keeping their jobs, but it probably has more to do with BCB politics (which I'm not really aware about)

He is the most talented batter in the side but the way he gets out on soft dismissal is very frustrating to watch. He didn’t utilize his talent very well. And as fan of his, I feel bad that he didn’t show his full potential, he is so capable like that knock vs india in 2022 is a perfect example.

Fizz was like this at one point too, most talented bowler but after injury couldnt utilize his talent that well, however somehow managed to be one of the best death bowlers in the team. And after he played for CSK, Thala’s guidance helped him a lot even he himself said that. He has done quite well since then. The corruption at BCB , won’t even wanna talk about it. Its so messed up, and BD’s journalists are toxic AF they make things worse. Idk why BCB called Haturu back, the most overrated BD coach , though one thing he did good is to bring Rishad the leggie in the team.

Bangladesh lose to South Africa due to ICC’s outdated and wrong rule

In the 17th over of Bangladesh chase, Ottneil Baartman’s second delivery hit the pad of Mahmudullah, and the umpire raised his finger. The ball went for a four, but the ball became dead as the official had given the willow holder out. The batter took a DRS, and the decision was reversed by the third umpire. Mahmudullah survived, but the four was not given as the ball was dead according to the rule.

The margin of defeat was four runs in the end. Had the umpire said no to the South Africa’s appeal, the sub-continent team would have got two points.

A team can’t be penalized for the umpire’s mistake. Instead, the official should get a demerit point for wrong decisions during a match.

They actually beat Sa many times in ODI even in WC too. In WC BD won 2 out of 4 or 5 vs SA. And also won ODI series vs SA twice , including one in SA

This is why I felt really bad cause they lost because of poor umpiring smiley6 Had bd lost by 10 ish run cant say its cause of umpiring they lose by freaking 4 runs and this rule robbed 4 runs. Also denied 2 wides. I know it sounds like excuse but its just so sad 😭 Though BD did screw up in the last 3 overs.
