Yes but they were very good for the 80s! And the music was outstanding. It guarantees to make you tear up, infact sob, even today despite having watched it a dozen times.

Jiska darr tha wohi hua, I'm disappointed with the very first episode of the Yuddha Kand. When the episode started, I was like 'Yeahhhhh, shuru ho gaya rey baba" but then after first 2-3 minutes, I was like

First of all, they need to fix those slacking bow strings. Kya yaar, the bows look like the ones children buy in melas. Will Indian TV or movie industry ever nail war scenes, I doubt In the OG Ramayan, one arrow led to thousands of arrows, yeh kya idhar ek-ek baan maar rahe hai Aise kaise chalega I hope pet mein final baan thik se mara jayega

Vanar Sena throwing stones was so comical, oh my Ram! Like the stone the vanar in the last row was throwing would end up lading on the vanar in the first row. Who choreographed all this?

Why only Ravan gets to change his clothes? Why were only Ram,Laksham, Angad, Hanuman and the junior vanars fighting? Where were the other warriors? What was that fireball joke?

Ram, Lakshman, Angad, Hanuman, Sugreev helping injired vanars while Bibhishan was just watching, woh kyon hai inke sena mein, he is a Lankan, not an Indian politician to "wait and watch" Wasn't Jambuwant a great warrior and a vaidya too?

But the makers view point of the character annoyed me.

Rest war sequences were funny though
