Omg there are others like me that didn’t like it. I honestly couldn’t understand the hype of liking this movie. It had too much going on, too preachy. It was long and boring.

My mum came in the 70’s to marry an educated villager, my dad’s qualifications didn’t count in the UK at that time. There might be few situations in the 90’s but it might be more to do with wealthy family instead of education. It’s mostly Pakistani and Bangladeshi UK girls that come to marry villagers still. It just depends how progressive the girl’s family is. If they want their daughter to marry within their community and can’t find a match where they live then yes they will likely look towards India

There are a lot but KANK is unbeaten. Absolute trash storyline. Horrible screenplay and the degeneracy to whitewash EMA is sick.

Both Devdas and Jab Tak Hai Jaan are not good movies. Specially Jab Tak Hai Jaan is unbearable. I voted for Devdas.
