Also I hate what they are doing with kaveri's character. They had a good actor and the potential of a layered, gray toned character. But kaveri's needless grudge against abhira is so stupid.

I meant talk to Kaveri in private to fire her and not Abhira. or best case- talk to Abhira's boss and ask her to send a different person for the shaadi to replace Abhira.

I understand that he has good intentions. he is feeling bad to see Abhira insulted and is putting a stop to it by firing her himself.

but they make a spectacle out of everything. so despite his good intentions, essentially what is happening is her getting publicly fired in front of all the guests etc. And even if for a brief while until Kipling uncle calls her, she is gonna feel like not only has she lost Armaan for good, now she has lost another job and the money she desperately needs. its another jolt. another blow.

its not like they will all quietly agree, before agreeing to let her go- Kaveri will throw some more taunts about her inefficiency etc.

Can't understand where this track is going though.. Divorce pending is just technicality.. Even if Madhav reaches before shaadi and halts it, kv can just expedite the divorce and get another date fixed.. Ar did not even raise deal to daadi today, so cant be expected to take a stand against Kv for his marriage any time soon.. Might as well get the shaadi done with.. Rohit could have been the only factor to make a difference..there is no idea what is the deal with Ar mom and that plot point anyway won't get mixed now

he already knows that Abhira loves him and his family. she is a genuinely nice person. all he should want to do is to feel guilty and go cry for hurting Abhira and for placing his dadi on a pedestal but seeing how she is just a cruel old woman who is not ashamed for how badly she has treated a young girl.

Manish is tuchha luchha but please can they give a family to abhira. Their scenes are so bittersweet and I can't help but like them.

If Ru was at least a bit likeable, majority of the audience might support Ar Ru marriage ... Only thing stopping it is that Ru should not get Ar after all plotting and manipulation.. It has nothing to do with Ab or Ar at this point😃
